- I am of Lakota/French/Irish/Polish/ and Portuguese decent. I spent my younger years living in NYC on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Went to private schools my entire life. Spent my summers on the Cheyenne River Reservation. My dad voted for Nixon and my mom was at Wounded Knee, so childhood was intresting to say the least.I am the 7 greats granddaughter of Pierre LaClede, founder of St.Louis, and 7 greats granddaughter to Chief Crow Feather of the Lakota.I have three children. My oldest, Ashton, is a mommy to two darling little boys. I have a 12 year old girl and a 7 year old son. My husband and I live in the country right by the Missouri River in South Dakota. I have done many things in my life, working a variety of jobs including working for a magazine, and running an animal shelter.However, I am the cliche, and being a Mom is my favorite job.
